Terms and Conditions
These terms apply from 8 September 2026 and replace every earlier version.
Part A - About these terms
1. Who we are
1.1 HOLISTICON is a holistic fair that is currently run by Regurk Limited, Venture Hub, 136 Capel Street, D01 T2C9 Dublin, CRO number 813619, VAT ID IE4735160KH ("HOLISTICON", "we", "us", "our"). You can write to us at be@holisticon.ie.
1.2 HOLISTICON provides the space, the organisation and the promotion of its events, the website at holisticon.ie, the HOLISTICON app and the HOLISTICON Badge. The stalls, talks, workshops, readings, treatments, sessions and products you find at an event are offered by independent exhibitors, practitioners and presenters, each running their own business, not by HOLISTICON.
2. Who these terms are for
2.1 Part B applies to everyone who attends a HOLISTICON event, holds a Badge or uses a Badge benefit ("attendees", "you").
2.2 Part C applies to everyone who applies to exhibit, exhibits, presents a session or otherwise takes part in an event as a business ("exhibitors", "you"). Part B also applies to exhibitors when they attend as visitors.
2.3 Part D applies to everyone who uses the website, the app or an account, including the Treasures shop.
2.4 Part E applies to everyone.
2.5 If you exhibit, the Exhibitor Proposal you read and acknowledge in your dashboard, the prices, sizes and dates shown to you when you book, and any written agreement between us form part of your contract with us. If they conflict with these terms, the written agreement comes first, then what was shown at booking, then these terms.
3. Some words we use
- Event: a HOLISTICON fair on the date(s) and at the venue we announce for it.
- Stall: the space in the hall allocated to an exhibitor for an event, of the type and size booked.
- Booking: a confirmed reservation of one or more stalls for one event, made through our booking system or recorded by us for a stall sold in person.
- Deposit: the part of the stall fee payable to confirm a booking, as a percentage stated at booking.
- Badge: the HOLISTICON Badge, a digital pass tied to an attendee's account, either a day Badge for one event or any other Badge we offer.
- Badge benefit or offer: the discount, gift or other benefit an exhibitor chooses to give Badge holders at their stall.
- Session: a talk, workshop, class, demonstration or similar presented at an event.
- Practitioner: an exhibitor who offers a treatment, healing, reading or other service to a person rather than, or as well as, goods.
Part B - Attending HOLISTICON
4. Entry and the Badge
4.1 Entry to a HOLISTICON event is free unless we say otherwise for a particular event. No ticket is needed to come in.
4.2 The Badge is optional. It is not a ticket and it is not required for entry. A day Badge is tied to one event; other Badges are as described when you buy them. A Badge unlocks the benefits that participating exhibitors choose to offer Badge holders on the day, and any other benefits we describe at the time of purchase.
4.3 A Badge belongs to the account that holds it. It cannot be transferred, sold, shared or used for someone else's benefit. We may cancel a Badge that is misused.
4.4 Cancelling a day Badge. You may cancel the purchase of a day Badge within 14 days of buying it, but only up to the day before the event it is for. Once the event day has arrived or passed, the Badge cannot be cancelled, whether or not 14 days have gone by; a Badge bought ten days before the event, for example, can be cancelled until the day before the event and not after. To cancel, write to be@holisticon.ie from the email address on your account; we refund the price to the payment method you used within 14 days. If we cancel the event a day Badge is for and do not reschedule it, we refund the Badge in full without you needing to ask.
4.5 Cancelling an annual Badge. An annual Badge includes items that are produced specifically for you once you order, so the 14-day right to cancel a distance purchase does not apply to it. You may cancel an annual Badge within 48 hours of buying it, by writing to be@holisticon.ie; after that it cannot be cancelled or refunded, except as your statutory rights provide for items that arrive faulty or not as described (see clause 26).
4.6 A Badge benefit is offered by the exhibitor, not by us. Each benefit is as described by that exhibitor, available at their stall during the event only, while stocks or appointments last, and honoured by them. We do our best to make sure exhibitors honour what they have offered, but we are not party to the benefit and cannot compensate you if an exhibitor does not.
4.7 When you redeem a Badge benefit at a stall, you consent, at that moment, to your name and contact details being shared with that exhibitor so that they can stay in touch with you. You can withdraw that consent from any exhibitor at any time by telling them, and you can ask us to note your choice. Our Privacy & consent page explains the details.
5. Sessions
5.1 Sessions are presented by independent presenters. Where a session is free, a reservation holds a place for you and we may release it if you have not arrived when the session starts. Where a session is paid or run with a partner, the price and any partner's terms are shown before you book.
5.2 A paid session ticket is refundable only if the session, or the event it is part of, is cancelled or moved to a time you cannot attend; in that case we refund what you paid us for it in full. It is not otherwise refundable.
5.3 The views expressed in a session are the presenter's own. A presenter's appearance at an event, on our website or in our app does not mean that we endorse them, their views, their services or any organisation they represent.
6. Your safety and other people's
6.1 We ask everyone at an event to treat the space, the exhibitors, the staff and each other with the same care that goes into building it. We may refuse entry to, or remove from the event, anyone whose behaviour puts other people, the exhibitors, the venue or the safe atmosphere of the event at risk, or who breaks the venue's rules. No refund is due from us in that case, and anything you paid to an exhibitor is a matter between you and them.
6.2 Children are welcome and remain the responsibility of the adult they come with at all times.
6.3 The venue's own rules on smoking, alcohol, fire safety and access apply at every event.
6.4 We take photographs and video at our events for our own records and to promote HOLISTICON. By attending you accept that you may appear in them. If you would rather not be photographed, tell a member of our team on the day and we will do our best to leave you out, and if you later find yourself in a picture you would like removed, write to us and we will remove it from what we control.
7. What exhibitors offer is theirs, not ours
7.1 Everything you buy, book or receive at a stall - goods, readings, treatments, healing, advice, classes - is provided by an independent exhibitor. When you buy or book from them you enter into a contract with that exhibitor, on their prices, their terms and their refund policy. HOLISTICON curates who exhibits and cares about your experience, but is not party to that contract.
7.2 If something you bought or received at a stall is not right, please raise it with the exhibitor first. If that does not resolve it, tell us at be@holisticon.ie: we will help where we can, and what you tell us helps us decide who exhibits in future. We cannot refund on an exhibitor's behalf.
7.3 Exhibitors write their own profiles and descriptions, and we publish them as written, without checking them. What an exhibitor says about their practice, products, qualifications or results is their statement, not ours.
8. Please read this before a reading, a treatment or a talk
8.1 Readings, mediumship, tarot, astrology, numerology and similar. Anything you are told in a reading or consultation is offered for guidance, spiritual exploration and entertainment. It is not, and must never be taken as, medical, legal, financial, psychological or other professional advice, and no decision about your health, money, relationships or legal affairs should rest on it.
8.2 Complementary therapies, energy healing, bodywork, hypnotherapy, coaching, shamanic and similar practices. These practices are offered as complementary to, never a replacement for, the care of a doctor or other registered healthcare professional. Practitioners at HOLISTICON do not diagnose, and do not claim to cure or treat, any medical condition in the way a doctor does. Their opinions and suggestions are those of a holistic practitioner, not medical advice. Do not stop, change or delay any treatment prescribed by a doctor because of anything you hear or receive at an event, and tell a practitioner about any condition, pregnancy, medication or implant before a treatment.
8.3 Products. Supplements, herbal preparations, cosmetics, candles, oils and similar products are sold by their exhibitor and are to be used as directed on their labels. Check the ingredients if you have an allergy or a sensitivity, and ask the exhibitor if anything is unclear.
8.4 Talks and workshops. See 5.3. Where a session involves movement, breathwork, fasting or anything physical, take part within your own limits and stop if you feel unwell.
8.5 Nothing at a HOLISTICON event, on our website, in our app or in these terms is medical advice. If you have a health concern, talk to a qualified doctor or other registered healthcare professional.
9. Our responsibility to attendees
9.1 We are responsible for what we provide under our own name: organising the event, the space we take on, our website, our app, our Badge and our own communications with you. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, advice, goods or services of any exhibitor, practitioner, presenter or partner, however they came to be at the event.
9.2 Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded under Irish law, and nothing in them affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Part C - Exhibiting at HOLISTICON
10. Registering as an exhibitor
10.1 Anyone wishing to exhibit registers through our website, which opens an exhibitor account straight away. Registering gives you the account and the ability to book; it does not by itself give you a stall at any event. We curate each event for variety and quality, and we limit the number of exhibitors in each craft or category so that the day stays varied for visitors.
10.2 You confirm that everything you tell us when you register and in your profile is true and complete, and that you will keep it up to date. What you tell us about what you offer decides which stall types you may book, what you pay and how we plan the floor, so it matters.
10.3 We may close an exhibitor account, decline a booking or remove an exhibitor from an event, and we will give a reason where we reasonably can.
10.4 If the craft or category you offer has reached its limit for an event, you may ask to be considered anyway, and we will decide; you may also set that craft aside for the event, or wait for the next one. Being on a waiting list, or asking to be considered, is not a booking.
11. Booking a stall
11.1 Stalls are booked through your exhibitor dashboard, at the types, sizes, prices and dates shown there for the event. Prices are shown in euro and include VAT. Where we show a practitioner rate, an extra-stall discount, an early-supporter discount, a loyalty discount or a special price agreed with you in writing, that is the price that applies to that booking. A price shown to you and paid is the price of that booking; we do not revise it afterwards, and neither can you.
11.2 A booking is confirmed when we receive the deposit or the full fee, whichever you chose at checkout, or when we record a payment made to us in person. Until then a stall is not reserved for you, however far you got in the process.
11.3 We may open bookings before the floor plan exists ("presale"), on the number of stalls of each type we expect to have. If, when the floor is planned, we cannot honour a presale booking, we offer you the nearest alternative or a full refund of what you paid.
11.4 Where your stall is. We place every stall when we plan the floor, so that the day flows well for visitors and exhibitors alike. You do not choose or buy a particular spot, and we may move a stall before or during set-up for a good reason, keeping to the type and size you booked. Requests are welcome and considered, never promised.
11.5 A booking is personal to you and to the business you applied as. You may not transfer it, share the stall with another business, sub-let it or let anyone else trade from it without our written consent.
11.6 A table hired from us is an add-on to a stall booking, paid in full at booking, and follows the stall it belongs to.
12. Paying
12.1 You may pay the full fee at booking or a deposit, as offered at checkout. The deposit is the percentage of the fee stated at booking. Payments through the website are processed by Stripe; we do not see or store your card details.
12.2 If you pay a deposit, the balance is due by the date stated in your dashboard and in our payment reminder. If the balance is not paid by that date, we may, after reminding you, cancel the booking and release the stall; in that case the deposit is not refunded, as in 13.3.
12.3 Where we agree a price or a payment in person or by other means, we record it against your booking and it is subject to these terms in the same way.
13. If you cancel
13.1 You may cancel a booking, or reduce the number of stalls in it, by writing to be@holisticon.ie. A cancellation takes effect when we receive it. Please use the email address on your exhibitor account, so that we know it is you.
13.2 Twenty-one days or more before the event. If we receive your cancellation at least 21 days before the first day of the event, we refund everything you have paid us for that booking - deposit, stall fee and any table hire - in full. Refunds go back to the payment method you used, within 14 days of your cancellation.
13.3 Less than twenty-one days before the event. If we receive your cancellation less than 21 days before the first day of the event, the deposit and any stall fee or table hire you have paid are forfeited and are not refunded.
13.4 Less than seven days before the event, or not attending. If we receive your cancellation less than 7 days before the first day of the event, or you do not attend, the full fee for the booking is due: what you have paid is forfeited as in 13.3, and any unpaid balance remains payable to us.
13.5 Where you reduce a booking rather than cancel it, 13.2 to 13.4 apply to the stall or stalls you give up.
13.6 We may, entirely at our discretion, allow a late cancellation to be carried over to a later HOLISTICON event instead of being forfeited, for example where a stall is re-let. That is a favour, not a right, and it is never a cash refund.
13.7 Cancelling a booking does not cancel your exhibitor account. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may affect future applications.
14. If we cancel, postpone or change an event
14.1 If we cancel an event and do not reschedule it, we refund everything you have paid us for your booking at that event in full, within 14 days.
14.2 If we postpone an event to a new date, your booking carries over to the new date on the same terms. If you cannot make the new date, tell us within 14 days of our announcement and we refund everything you have paid us for the booking in full.
14.3 If we change the venue to a comparable venue in the same area, or change the opening hours, the layout or the programme, your booking stands. Where a change is material - a different town, a different day of the week, a significantly smaller hall - 14.2 applies as if the event had been postponed.
14.4 Where an event cannot go ahead for reasons outside our reasonable control - the venue becoming unavailable, severe weather, a public health measure, an order of a public authority, a strike, an outage of essential services, or anything of that kind - 14.1 and 14.2 apply, and a full refund of what you paid us is the whole of our responsibility to you.
14.5 In none of the cases in this clause are we liable for anything else: travel, accommodation, stock, staff, materials, marketing, lost sales or lost profit are yours to bear. We recommend that you insure against them.
15. Set-up, the day and breaking down
15.1 Set-up and breakdown times are told to you before the event. Please arrive within them; a stall not occupied by the time we tell you may be re-let without refund.
15.2 Keep to the footprint of the stall you booked, including anything hung, stacked or standing beside it, and keep aisles and exits clear. Your stall must be attended throughout the opening hours by you or by staff of your business, and it may not be broken down before the event closes: early packing spoils the day for the exhibitors around you.
15.3 You are responsible for your own equipment and fittings. Any electrical equipment must be safe, in good condition and, where the venue requires it, tested; you must not overload sockets or run cables across walkways. Naked flames, incense, smoke, candles and anything that could set off a fire alarm are not allowed unless we have agreed to them in writing for your stall. Nothing may be nailed, screwed, taped or stuck to the venue's walls, floors, ceilings or furniture.
15.4 Music and amplified sound at a stall need our prior agreement, and any licence for playing recorded music is yours to hold. Keep noise to a level that does not disturb your neighbours.
15.5 Leave your stall and its surroundings as you found them, take your waste with you, and report any damage to us. Damage you or your staff cause to the venue or to other people's property is yours to pay for.
15.6 You and your staff must follow the venue's rules and the reasonable instructions of our team and the venue's staff on the day, especially on safety and evacuation.
16. What you may offer, and how
16.1 You may only offer, sell, demonstrate or promote what you told us you offer and what we approved. If what you offer changes, update your profile and tell us before the event.
16.2 You must hold every qualification, registration, licence and permission that Irish law and your profession require for what you offer, and every product you sell must comply with the law that applies to it, including on safety, labelling, ingredients and allergens. It is your responsibility to know about and comply with changes in the law that affect what you do.
16.3 Health claims. You must not claim or suggest that any treatment, therapy, practice or product diagnoses, cures, treats or prevents any medical condition, disorder or disease, unless that claim is lawful, the treatment or product is authorised by the relevant Irish authority (such as the HSE or the HPRA) and you are authorised to make it. You must not supply or promote unauthorised medicinal products or medical devices. Readings and similar consultations are to be offered as guidance and entertainment, and described as such if asked.
16.4 Working with people. Where you treat, touch or work closely with a person you must have their informed consent first, ask about anything that could make the treatment unsafe for them, keep to the hygiene standards of your profession between clients, and offer appropriate privacy. You must not treat a child without a parent or guardian present. You must never tell a person to stop, change or delay treatment prescribed by a doctor.
16.5 Food and drink may only be offered by exhibitors we have approved for it, registered as the law requires, with allergen information available and every hygiene rule kept.
16.6 You must not offer anything illegal, dangerous, discriminatory, hateful, defamatory or that we reasonably consider out of keeping with the spirit of HOLISTICON, and you must not make disparaging claims about other exhibitors or their practices.
16.7 You are responsible for everything you and your staff say, do, sell, advise and demonstrate at your stall and in any session, and for every claim you make. Exhibiting at HOLISTICON, being listed on our website or being promoted by us does not mean that we vouch for, endorse or take responsibility for any of it.
16.8 Your profile. Your profile - your name, intro line, description, photos, links and offering - is written by you and published on our website, in our app and in the hall guide as you wrote it. We do not review, check, edit or approve it before it appears, and we take no responsibility for its content; we act on it only when something is reported to us or the law requires us to, in which case we may remove or amend it and tell you. Everything in it must be true, lawful and substantiated. You must not make claims about results, benefits, effects, qualifications or experience that you cannot back up, and you must not promise or guarantee any outcome of a treatment, reading, product or session. You are solely responsible for your profile and for every claim in it, and 21.3 applies to it.
17. Badge benefits and the people who redeem them
17.1 You choose the benefit you offer Badge holders in your dashboard, before the event. Once the event has begun you must honour that benefit at your stall for every valid Badge holder who asks, while stocks or appointments last, and you may not withdraw or worsen it during the event. You may improve it at any time.
17.2 When an attendee redeems your benefit, their name and contact details are shared with you with their consent, for you to stay in touch with them about your business. From that moment you are the data controller for those details. You must handle them in line with the General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018: use them only for the purpose the attendee agreed to, keep them safe, do not sell, rent or pass them to anyone else, stop contacting a person the moment they ask, and delete their details when you no longer need them. A breach of this clause is a serious breach of these terms.
18. Presenting a session
18.1 If you offer a session and we accept it, we schedule its room and time, and we may change or cancel it where the programme requires. Sessions offered as part of an exhibitor's participation are free to attendees unless we agree otherwise in writing.
18.2 Everything in Part C applies to your session as it applies to your stall. You must not record attendees without their consent, must keep to your allotted time, and must tell us as early as you can if you cannot present.
19. The loyalty scheme
19.1 We run a loyalty scheme that rewards exhibitors who keep coming back with a discount on stall fees, as described in your exhibitor dashboard. Points and levels are worked out by us from paid bookings and any points we award; they have no cash value, cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged, and are lost if a booking is cancelled or refunded.
19.2 The scheme is ours to run: we may change how points are earned, the levels and the discounts, or withdraw the scheme, for future bookings, on reasonable notice in the dashboard. A discount applied to a confirmed booking is not taken away by a later change. We may remove an exhibitor from the scheme for a breach of these terms.
20. Promotion, images and intellectual property
20.1 To promote the event and you as part of it, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use your business name, logo, photographs, description, offering details and social media handles that you give us, on our website, in our app, on our social media channels, in our newsletters and in printed material, for as long as you are listed with us and, for material already produced, afterwards. You confirm that you own or are entitled to license everything you give us and that it does not infringe anyone's rights.
20.2 We photograph and film our events and may use images that include you, your staff and your stall for the same purposes. By exhibiting you agree to this on your own behalf and on behalf of your staff.
20.3 The HOLISTICON name, emblem, wordmark, website, app and materials are ours. You may use them only as we provide them to you - for example your QR poster and the promotional materials we supply - and only to promote your participation in our events. You may say that you exhibit at HOLISTICON; you may not suggest that we endorse or certify you, your services or your products.
20.4 If you opted in to our year-round practitioner directory, we list you in it on the same terms until you opt out in your dashboard or ask us to remove you.
21. Insurance, risk and liability between us
21.1 You must hold, for the whole of every event you attend, public liability insurance with an adequate amount of coverage for everything you do and sell at the event, and, where you offer treatments or advice, professional indemnity insurance appropriate to your practice. You must produce evidence of cover when we ask for it, and you must not exhibit without it.
21.2 Your stock, equipment, cash, personal belongings and vehicles, and those of your staff, are at your own risk at all times, including overnight where the venue allows overnight set-up. We do not insure them and we are not responsible for loss, theft or damage to them, however caused, except where caused by our own negligence.
21.3 Indemnity. You will compensate us, and keep us compensated, for every claim, loss, damage, cost, fine and expense, including reasonable legal costs, that we suffer or incur because of anything you, your staff or anyone acting for you does or fails to do at an event or in connection with your participation, including your goods, services, treatments, advice, claims, sessions, use of attendee data, breach of these terms, or breach of any law.
21.4 Our liability to you. Our total liability to you in connection with an event or a booking, whether in contract, tort, breach of statutory duty or otherwise, is limited to the fees you paid us for that booking. We are not liable for loss of sales, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of goodwill, wasted expenditure or any indirect or consequential loss. We do not promise any level of attendance, footfall, sales or leads: we promote every event as hard as we can, and the rest is the day itself.
21.5 Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability, or yours, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded under Irish law.
22. Breach, suspension and removal
22.1 We may refuse you entry, close your stall, remove you from an event, cancel a session, suspend or close your exhibitor account, or decline future applications if you or your staff break these terms or the law, behave unsafely or offensively, make claims you may not make, fail to honour a Badge benefit, misuse attendee data, fail to pay, or give us false information, or if serious complaints about you are made that we reasonably believe. No refund is due in any of these cases, and 21.3 continues to apply.
22.2 Where the breach can be put right and is not serious, we will tell you first and give you a fair chance to put it right.
23. Sorting things out
23.1 If you have a complaint about us, or about another exhibitor or an attendee at an event, tell us at be@holisticon.ie and we will look into it and reply. We want to resolve everything by talking first.
23.2 These terms and every booking are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about them, without prejudice to any right you have as a consumer to bring proceedings where you live.
Part D - Your account, the website, the app and the shop
24. Accounts
24.1 To exhibit, to hold a Badge or to use some features of the website and app you need an account. You must give us accurate details, keep them up to date, and keep your sign-in link and any code to yourself. You are responsible for what is done through your account until you tell us that it has been compromised. One person may hold one attendee account; one business may hold one exhibitor account.
24.2 You may close your account at any time from the account page. Closing it ends your Badge and, for an exhibitor, does not cancel a booking on its own - see clause 13.
25. Using the website and the app
25.1 You may use the website and the app for their intended purposes and in a lawful way. You must not attempt to gain access to other people's accounts or data, interfere with the service, scrape it, or post anything unlawful, offensive, infringing or misleading.
25.2 Anything you post or upload - a profile, a description, a photograph, a suggestion - remains yours, but you grant us the licence in 20.1 to use it to run and promote HOLISTICON, and you alone are responsible for it. We do not review or approve it before it appears; we may remove or amend anything that is reported to us, or that we are required to remove, and we tell you when we do.
25.3 We work hard to keep the website and the app available and accurate, but we cannot promise that they will always be available, free of errors or free of interruptions, and we may change or withdraw features at any time. The daily draw, the ritual and similar features are offered for reflection and enjoyment only.
25.4 Where the website links to other sites or services, including our payment provider, our print partner and exhibitors' own sites, their terms apply to your use of them.
26. The Treasures shop
26.1 The Treasures shop sells HOLISTICON merchandise and gift items. Prices are shown in euro and include VAT; delivery costs, where any, are shown before you pay. An order is accepted when we send you the order confirmation. Every item is produced to your order by our print partner once you have ordered it, and the delivery time shown at checkout is an estimate.
26.2 Because each item is made specifically for you, the 14-day right to cancel a distance purchase does not apply to Treasures orders. You may cancel an order within 48 hours of placing it, by writing to be@holisticon.ie from the email address you ordered with; after 48 hours an order cannot be cancelled, returned or refunded, except as 26.3 provides.
26.3 If an item arrives damaged, faulty or not as described, tell us within a reasonable time with a photograph and we will replace it or refund it, including any delivery costs, as your statutory rights provide.
26.4 Gift items that come with a Badge are dispatched to the address you give us at purchase; check it carefully, as we cannot recover an item sent to an address you gave us in error.
Part E - General
27. Changes to these terms
27.1 We may update these terms as HOLISTICON grows. The version published on holisticon.ie/terms at any time is the current one, with its date at the top. For a confirmed booking, the terms in force when the booking was made continue to apply to that booking, except where a change is required by law or is to your advantage.
28. Notices
28.1 Notices to us are to be sent to be@holisticon.ie. Notices to you are sent to the email address on your account, and count as received when sent.
29. Other things
29.1 These terms, with the documents named in 2.5, are the whole agreement between us on their subject. If any part of them is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest continues in force. If we do not enforce a term on one occasion, we may still enforce it later. You may not assign or transfer your rights or bookings; we may assign ours to any successor who runs HOLISTICON. Nothing in these terms creates a partnership, joint venture, agency or employment between us.
29.2 Headings are for convenience only. "Including" means "including without limitation".
